Without following the due process as provided in the Laws that govern tertiary public education in Sierra Leone. ; which resulted in committing the Government of Sierra Leone (GoSL) to serious financial obligations.

Aug 2020 : The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) concludes investigations into LKW UNIand the Role of Dr. Minkailu Bah (Deceased) and makes recommendations. Full Details below : 

Early on March 2020 : Former Education Minister, Dr Minkailu Bah, was briefly interrogated on Friday by agents of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Politico learnt.
A source in the Commission said Dr Bah was questioned over his role in the agreement that led to the establishment of the LKW UNI, which is currently the subject of public debate. Details below :

Commissioner Biobele Georgewill of the Commission of Inquiry has on Monday August 19, 2019, criticized the LUCT, Sierra Leone campus, for charging Sierra Leonean students unfairly high tuition fees.

The Nigerian George said that the LKW fees are exorbitantly high for Sierra Leonean students. He established that students in Malaysia pay US$3, 300 for degree courses without any government support, adding that charging Sierra Leonean students US$3000 for degree courses with virtually every government support is unfair to the people of Sierra Leone.
